Invoices issued by email are valid for 7 days from date of emailing, after that time if no payment has been received items will be returned for sale to the website. We do not issue proforma invoices . In the case of items being purchased  on behalf of others, a purchase order for those items is required, on receipt of which an invoice will be issued. Items may be reserved for a maximum of 48 hrs , unless otherwise approved by Norfolk Decorative Antiques principals . We do not  accept graduated payments

Terms & Conditions relating to UK and EU Internet Sales

Items bought unseen via our website may be returned provided we are notified within 24 hrs after receipt of delivery if possible.

Items purchased via our website may then be returned within 14 days or a mutually agreed period in good condition and properly packaged via our antique carrier  (cost  TBA ), regardless of the method of transport used to deliver them. (Please note- carriage costs by antique carrier  vary considerably  depending on the UK area and the size of the item  ) return carriage costs from EU countries will be advised.

Upon receipt of items returned within the agreed period, a full refund will be made (excluding carriage costs to deliver & return) before the end of a thirty day period from receipt of the goods at our warehouse, provided the goods arrive in good re- saleble conditiion and are assessed as re-saleable with no repairs being needed.

Where an item has been specially customised for a client at their specific request, and an invoice drawn for that customisation, we cannot accept those goods for return in any circumstances. Customisation includes for example   special wiring requirements ,  additional lengths of flex added ,  floor switches added etc .

Where trade discount has been given to Clients who do not pay at the point of sale and who have issued a purchase order then  no return facilities are available  except at the discretion of the principals .

Payments may be made by debit card ( free) credit card (free) BACS payment or cheque.

No goods will be dispatched until payments have been cleared by our bank . All goods remain the property of Norfolk Decorative Antiques Ltd until we are in receipt of cleared funds to our bank.

Items bought unseen and stored at the clients request for a maximum of 3 months , may be refunded after delivery, if 7 days notice is given , however then a storage fee of £20 plus vat per week for every week of storage of said items will be invoiced together with a 25% surcharge on the goods, and delivery/collection costs as above will be deducted.

 Items of stock swapped after purchase  for similar  items  will be subject to a 20% restocking fee for the original item to be returned to stock .

Items left on NDA premises for indeterminate periods without notification will incur storage charges of £30.00 per week plus vat  commencing after a three month period ,  storage charges will be invoiced monthly. Items left for restoration will incur storage charges if not  collected withing a 2 month period unless otherwise agreed . Items left for restoration which remain unpaid after one month, will be subject to a surcharge of 15% upon collection and all storage charges as applicable

 When the charges for storage of goods exceed the value of the goods sold   , the goods will be returned for sale to the website after  the client has been notified to collect and given a grace period of 2 weeks. . 

Items restored for third parties and insurance companies can be stored free of charge for 14 days prior to the payment of the invoice, after that date a fee for storage of £15.00 per week plus vat will be charged until the item is paid for and collected or delivered as agreed

Due to the delicate nature of our stock no items are delivered on appro or sale or return basis  unless special circumstances apply. If agreed with our principals that items may be sent on SOR then full payment is required and  any items returning to NDA warehouse must be advised  within 14 days of purchase .  We will then receive the items back to our warehouse and provided they are in good saleable condition we will refund  the purchase price less the carriage  to and fro. Once the 14 day period is exceeded we cannot accept items back  that have been purchased on SOR .

Items restored for restoration only clients,  third parties and insurance companies can be stored free of charge for 14 days  from the date of issue of the invoice, after that date a fee for storage of £30.00 per week plus vat will be charged until the item is paid for and collected or delivered as agreed.
