A really spectacular white glass and brass plaffonier probably dating Circa 1950  with applied brass decoration and  brass lion mounts to the bowl , attached to decorative antique chains x 4  measuring 110 cms ceiling plate to base of the plaffonier at present , this height could be shortened by approx 20 cms without compromising the porportional aesthetic . Re glass plaffonier itself could also be hung very close to the ceiling  without the chains ( please ask ) . Internally there are 4  bulbs to light the glass  .  This item is probably colonial .
