But its like moving house three times a year, very very hard work and quite stressy.
Because of the fragile nature of our antique lighting we have to pack it very carefully and all this happens a  week or so before the fair opens
We also have to support the stand at the fair with extra strengtheners  so that the weighjtof heavy items does not compromise the stand and we have to paint it and put down a floor. What the visitors see on opening day is about a weeks worth of hard graft . The chaos behind the scenes is hidden from view and everything we have is displayed to the best possible advantage, this is good for us as we cannot always do this at the showroom.
Our team of helpers are second to none and without  them we could not continue to do this fair, so thanks must go to Tristan who looks after the unit while we are away and restores so carefully, to Stella and Dave who pack and unpack and help with the electrics, to Anne and Steve Baldwin the transporters who pack the vans so efficiently and never break anything.
Here`s hoping its a good one
