Substantial country house adjustable brass reading lamp

Well balanced and substantial early 20th C  French  brass adjustable height reading lamp,  also with adjustable shade positions and original on/off switch to the top.

This lamp is approx 170 cms  extended and  will drop to approx 130 cms  to allow for reading by a chair of sofa . The base has  pretty feet and is  weighted for stability . Over the years this lamp has achieved a lovely patina to the brass and is suitable for a country house environment.  Taupe pleated custom silk shade included.

 Rewired and PAT tested

 2mtrs silk covered three core flex .

Please note  that due to the technical nature of our stock all items are double checked prior to leaving the warehouse ,  quite often we do not  complete  the rewire process until an item is sold because style requirements vary  . Some stock goes to the US and other  countries where voltages are different .

All electrical  items  hold a PAT test certificate .

Lead time for delivery therefore is  generally 2-3 weeks from  receipt of funds  and may be a little less to London where we deliver weekly .
