Lovely very short drop 6 armed heavy brass Dutch style chandelier .Circa 1900 previously drilled for electricty in the '20s and rewired in our workshop .
This type of chandelier is a derivative of the original Dutch brass chandeliers that used to be carried on poles in the 16th /17th century when wealthy citizens had parties. They look their best with Elizabethan type furniture . Perfect for low ceilings . Great for libraries and panelled rooms .
