Oil on Canvas still life 'Pansies in a Bowl' by ME Wilson circa 1920

Lovely still life oil on canvas board  by ME Wilson  1890 -1977  of pansies in a bowl    stamped on the verso with a Windsor and Newton very  early label   this is a nice painting in its original graduated frame.   Margaret Evangeline Wilson was a well known artist with works at Eton College , the Royal Pavilion Museum and Russell-Coates Gallery .She painted still life  - flowers and  portraits , buldings  and observable  items .

This still life is probably 1925-1930   it has a luminous quality about it and needs  good light   , It has passed through a couple of  owners  2 of whom are documented on the verso .
