Foster and Pullen made gas lanterns at the Anvil works in Bradford, and were responsible for street lighting in various forms
The Arcturus which had a circular suspension, and could carry a cluster of burners, back reflectors and holophane dish were used to light A and B roads
The Alpha standard rectangular lantern with a 12 light burner used to Light A roads only
The Side Way used to light the kerb and the road consists of several reflectorsa and was also used to throw light on to the houses in the street.
